All meals are included in the price of the rooms and sourced as locally as possible. An example itinerary for a 5-Night-Stay is shown below:
Monday: Arrival at 3-4pm. You will be provided with light refreshment after you arrive and then we will sit down to a three course meal at 7:00pm.
Tuesday-Friday: Breakfast available from 8:00-9:30am. Lunch at 1pm. A two-course dinner at 7:30pm, except for Friday where you will be treated to a four-course dinner.
Saturday: Breakfast choices as normal. A special ‘leaving day’ option will be available if requested a day in advance. Departure before 12pm.
Breakfast: A changing selection which may include croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, baguette, toast, muesli, cereal and fruits. Orange juice will be out at breakfast. Water, tea and coffee available throughout the day.
Lunch: Quiche and salads. Dips and crudites. Galettes (savoury pancakes). etc. etc.
Dinner (mains): Moules Marinière and chips. Pork, apple and cider stew with Lyonnaise potatoes and vichy carrots. Beetroot and shallot tarte tatin with salads and sweet potato chips. etc. etc.
Dinner (desserts): Crème Brûlée with a shortbread spoon. Beignets with dips. Chocolate Fondant with homemade vanilla ice-cream. Bakewell Profiteroles with raspberry sauce and almond ice-cream. etc. etc.
A glass of wine or cider will be included in the evening meal. Soft drinks will also be available.
The menu will depend on availability of ingredients and will change throughout the seasons. If you have any allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements, please let us know in advance of your stay so we can plan a menu to suit everyone.
